Vow Renewals are a special way to celebrate your love and reaffirm the promises you made to each other on your wedding day. If you are thinking about having a vow renewal ceremony, know that a joyous celebration of your marriage can be planned easily and confidently at South Causey Inn, with our team of professionals.

South Causey Inn can offer two different packages for your Vow Renewal. Whether you would just like to celebrate with the two of you, or you are looking to invite close friends and family to your celebration.

Both packages include everything to ensure the day runs smoothly with everything prepared for you to ensure a stress-free and memorable day.   • Vow Renewal Package - For the two of you

    Here is an example of an Vow Renewal Package for the two of you, however we are happy to discuss any of your personal requirements to build a bespoke celebration perfect for you.

    • Accommodation for two nights in a deluxe room – complete with an outdoor hot tub.
    • The day before the Vow Renewals, or the day after, our beauticians will come to your room for an hour-long relaxing treatment.
    • A hamper will be delivered to your room containing a bottle of red or white wine and a “Posh Picnic” for two.
    • Sparkling breakfast the morning of the Vow Renewals.
    • Your ceremony will be held in one of our licensed rooms here at South Causey Inn (Please note the civil ceremony will begin at 11:00).
    • Two witnesses can be provided if necessary.
    • Six-course wedding breakfast served in our restaurant with two glasses of wine per person.
    • Full English breakfast the next morning in our main restaurant.

    VOW RENEWAL FOR TWO Package Pricing

    ORCHARD BROCHURE PRICING -  2024

    Excludes New Years Eve. New Booking only.

    2024 Monday to Thursday £2,150 2 guests £75

    Wedding Breakfast & Wine only

    Wedding Breakfast & soft drink only

    		 Included in basic package price.
    This is the minimum number of guest the basic package is based on and this includes the happy couple. All guests must be catered for. You are welcome to add additional guest to on top of the minimum package numbers stated. They will be charged as listed above on top of the basic package price. Child pricing applies to Children aged 12 years & under. This is the hire fee payable to the Inn. The registrars have their own additional fees on top of this fee.
    Initial booking deposit to secure the date & venue - £500.
    Payment Scheduled - 12 months before the wedding date - 25% of the basic package price. 6 months before the wedding date - 25% of the basic package price. 6 weeks before the wedding date - final balance plus any extra guests & ceremony fee.
    All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable as per the wedding contract, terms & conditions.
  • Vow Renewal Package - Friends & Family

    Here is an example of an Vow Renewal Package for friends and family, however we are happy to discuss any of your personal requirements to build a bespoke celebration perfect for you.

    • Your personal coordinator and master of ceremonies.
    • Full room dressing including chair covers, sashes, table runner, centrepieces, candles, card box, cake stand, and cake knife.
    • Arrival drink of sparkling rose.
    • Mixed seasonal canapés.
    • Sparkling wine for the toasts.
    • A glass of red, white, or rose wine for guests.
    • A four-course dinner. Guests have a choice of two options for each course from our Gold A La Carte Menu.
    • The Vow Renewal Ceremony will begin at 11:00.

    Vow Renewal Pricing 2024

    • £105 per adult - minimum of 10 adults and maximum 40 guests.
    • £35 for Children 12 years and under.
    • Civil ceremony hire £350 (does not include Registrars fees please contact Durham Registrars 03000 263 263).
    • Beamish Barn Venue half day hire £250 11:00 till 17:00.
    • Beamish Barn Venue full day hire £500 11:00 till 22:00.
    • All guest must be catered for.
