South Causey Inn is super excited for the return of the Causey Comedy Nights! We will be brining a night of excellent comedy where we will have three incredible acts taking the stage, and Si Beckwith as our host for the evening.

You can arrive anytime from 5 pm if you would like to enjoy food and drinks before the show begins from 7pm. Cocktails and drinks will be available to order from the bar in between the show intervals.

    Ignacio Lopez has been wowing audiences internationally with his individual style and high gag-rate since 2010. A crazy mixture of Welsh & Spanish Ignacio has become one of the most unique voices on the UK circuit. A frequent headliner and MC in top comedy clubs all over the UK, Ignacio also performs regularly at corporate functions, private shows, military gigs, sports dinners, art centres and festivals. Ignacio soon gained TV recognition in 2011 when he appeared on ITV’s ‘Show Me The Funny‘, and since then he has gone on to become a regular face on BBC Wales Sesh, appear on Live At The Apollo, Radio 4’s The Now Show, Celebrity Pointless, Breaking The News & The Good The Bad & The Unexpected his online content has racked up nearly 40 million views across all social media channels.

    Lauren Pattison

    Edinburgh Best Newcomer 2017 and Best Comedy Show Nominee 2022 Lauren is a comedian, actor and writer. Her newcomer-nominated show Lady Muck is available to watch on Amazon Prime UK. Her vast TV appearances include Stand Up for Live Comedy (BBC One), BBC New Comedy Awards 2021 (BBC Three), two episodes of Comedy Central at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC) and internationally on New Zealand’s 7 Days (TV3), Australia’s Comedy Up Late (ABC) and Canada’s The Stand-Up Show with Katherine Ryan (The Comedy Network Canada). As an actor her credits include Drunk History (Comedy Central), Jerk (BBC Three) and Climaxed (BBC Three).

    Jack Gleadow

    Award-winning, stand-up comedian and Hull local, Jack Gleadow, is one of the most unique performers on the UK comedy circuit today. He takes his inspiration from the golden era of variety; Jack is the One-Man Variety Show with the use of sounds, stories, jokes and a scooter and has got off to a good start by already performing for Harry Hill!
    In the words of Leicester Comedy Festival, after winning the prestigious 2018 Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year award, “Jack bowled over the judges with his quirky set; a delightful blend of audience participation, wordplay and physical comedy.”
    Jack is also the winner of 2017’s Amused Moose National New Comic, and more recently nominated for Chortle’s Best Newcomer and Leicester Comedy Festivals’ Best New Show, both in 2019. He recently recorded an episode of Amazon’s Audible Presents.

    Si Beckwith

    Your host, the hugely respected comedian and compere Si Beckwith. Making big waves on the comedy circuit for his sharp writing and impeccable crowd work, Si is a much sought after act and will hold the show together with aplomb.
