An experience for all the family...
Come with us on a magical winter journey from the picturesque South Causey Inn towards the Causey Arch for a two-mile carriage ride with the wonderful horses from Northeast Carriages.
A unique Christmas experience that will instill the magic of Christmas for all your family! You will be greeted by two majestic horses in a festive hooded carriage with Santa Claus himself as your driver. Blankets and hot water bottles will be ready in the carriage for your lap, to keep you warm and toasty.
Mulled Wine or Hot chocolate and Festive Cupcakes will be given to you before you set off, which you can enjoy in the carriage whilst you watch the world go by!

Carriage rides are available to book on the dates and times below for a maximum of four guests per carriage (plus two children maximum under 3 years sitting on a parent's or guardian's lap).

- Saturday, 30th November 2024 - £130 per carriage
- Sunday, 1st December 2024 - £130 per carriage
- Saturday, 7th December 2024 - £130 per carriage
- Sunday, 8th December 2024 - £130 per carriage
- Saturday, 14th December 2024 - £130 per carriage
- Sunday, 15th December 2024 - £130 per carriage
- Saturday, 21st December 2024 - £140 per carriage
- Sunday, 22nd December 2024 - £140 per carriage
- Monday, 23rd December 2024 - £140 per carriage
- Tuesday, 24th December 2024 - £140 per carriage
Tickets include:
- Horse Carriage Ride, with Santa
- Hot water bottles & blankets
- Christmas cupcake
- Mulled wine or hot chocolate
- Photos with Santa Claus and his horses (don't forget your carrots for the horses!)
Please note, that Santa has to concentrate very hard on controlling the horses driving your carriage (they are not as easy as reindeer)! Sorry, you will not have the chance to meet him up close but of course, a picture next to the carriage can be taken so don’t forget your camera and your carrots for the Horses!
You can have your hot chocolate/mulled wine before or after your ride and if you would like a table at the Inn, please ask your greeter on arrival. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you get your full time in the Carriage Ride.
