We are proud to announce an exceptional new collaboration coming to South Causey Inn, from February 4th 2026. For six months only, Michelin starred restaurant Hjem, led by chef Alex Nietosvuori, will take residence at South Causey Inn, bringing with it one of the most exciting dining experiences in the North East.
Hjem is celebrated for its seasonal, ingredient led cooking and has earned a Michelin star for its refined yet comforting approach to modern British and Nordic inspired cuisine. During the residency, guests can enjoy both an outstanding Tasting Menu and a thoughtfully curated Sunday Menu.
South Causey Inn’s historic setting and countryside character provide the perfect backdrop for this collaboration. With shared values of craftsmanship, storytelling, and warm hospitality, the partnership brings together two destinations known for creating memorable experiences. This limited run pop up marks an exciting new chapter for South Causey Inn and offers a rare opportunity to experience Hjem in a unique setting.
