The Durham Suite is a truly magical venue that was once a stone stable block and has been converted into a bright, beautiful space flooded with natural daylight and complete with private gardens and outdoor heated tipi.

  • What does this package include?
    • The package is designed for a minimum of 100 guests including the bride and groom.
    • Exclusive use of the Durham Suite, Tanfield Suite Cobbles Bar, and Tipi from 13:00 until midnight.
    • The Tanfield Suite is available for Civil ceremonies at either 14:00 or 15:00.
    • Chair sashes of your choice and tables dressed with runners, table centres, jars of mixed seasonal flowers, and jars of T lights.
    • Giant Love letters.
    • A dedicated Master of Ceremonies.
    • A welcome drink of Bucks Fizz and lager after the ceremony or on arrival from the church.
    • Exclusive use of Durham Garden for photographs.
    • Resident DJ.

    Maximum capacity - 200 guests for this package and venue. ║ Initial booking deposit to secure the date & venue - £1000. ║ All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable as per the wedding contract, terms & conditions. ║ Payment Scheduled ║ 12 months before the wedding date - 25% of the basic package price. ║ 6 months before the wedding date - 25% of the basic package price. ║ 6 weeks before the wedding date - final balance plus any extra guests & ceremony fee. ║ This is the minimum number of guest the basic package is based on and this includes the happy couple. You are welcome to add additional guest to on top of the minimum package numbers stated. They will be charged as listed above on top of the basic package price. Child pricing applies to Children aged 12 years & under. This is the hire fee payable to the Inn. The registrars have their own additional fees on top of this fee.
